Gunning & Dalton Water Restrictions Ceased - 10 Apr 2007
Although rainfall around the region has been patchy, substantial rainfall has been recorded in the Gunning area. As a result of the rainfall, the Lachlan River is flowing at the village extraction well. With the typical high consumption period now passed, Council advises that water restrictions for the Gunning and Dalton Water Supplies have been removed, effective from Monday April 2, 2007.

Crookwell - Level 3 Water Restrictions - 10 Apr 2007
Despite regional patchy rain, little rain has been received in the Crookwell Dam catchment with the Dam level continuing to decline. The Dam has now reached its lowest level in a number of years, and as of Monday 2nd April, the Dam is at just 53% of capacity.

Level 3 Water Restrictions - 05 Feb 2007
Below average rainfall coupled with high evaporation rates has seen The Crookwell water supply dam capacity plummet from 100% in late September 2006 to 60% as of February 2007. Based on current conditions and without further inflow, the current storage of 240ML provides storage capacity of less than 5 months. With hot and dry conditions persisting, Crookwell is more heavily relying on the Harley Road Emergency Water Supply Bores for water supply.
